The Canadian Woodlands Forum is sponsoring a teachers workshop to promote forestry. This year, the workshop is being held in Fredericton! YSC is helping out with some of the field portion, but we need teachers to sign up. It is a four day course, and attendees will stay at the Delta (with the cost covered!)

Effective July 14, 2024, there will be a decrease of $1/mt on Poplar Pulp and Hardwood Pulp.

Effective July 1, 2024, the delivered prices to Pleasant River Lumber's Enfield sawmill were updated as follows:

Spruce Sawlogs:  $90/ton ($88.02/ton after levy)
Spruce Treelength:  $85/ton ($83.13/ton after levy)
Fir Sawlogs:  $75/ton ($73.35/ton after levy)
Fir Treelength:  $65/ton ($63.57/ton after levy)

All prices are in USD.

 YSC has Red Maple and Yellow Birch seedlings available. Cost is up to $2.00 per seedling. Please contact Chris Higgins at YSC (christopher.higgins@yscnb.ca) before June 28th for more information. 

Garant is only purchasing Ash and the odd Sugar Maple; no Yellow Birch. 

Accepting lengths of 8’, 10’, 12’, 14’, and 16’; however, 12' and 16" hardwood sawlogs are preferred.

Min top on Maple is 10”.
Min top on  Ash is 8”.

Must be clean wood, no knots.
