Please be advised that there will not be a loader available to unload trucks at J.D. Irving in Doaktown during their Day Shift on Friday, August 2nd.
Their Thursday night shift will end at 3:00 am on Friday morning and there will be no loader after that time.
Self-loaders are welcome to deliver.
Jolly Farmer had a breakdown on their log loader and are waiting for repair parts to arrive. As a result, they are unable to off load any biomass wood with their loader at the present time.
Only self unloaders are able to make deliveries for the next several days. They will advise when they are up and running again.
A reminder to everyone delivering loads to the AV Nackawic mill -- the Load Quality and Safety requirements (see page 2 below) must be followed. Thank you.
Jolly Farmer is once again accepting Biomass. Price is $45/mt ($44.01/mt after levy)
Additional notes from Jolly Farmer:
- We are taking all species of round wood for biomass (max 10% cedar in load) ranging from 10 ft to 26 ft long. NO tree length! Max butt size has increased to 36”
- Old cut, crumbling , rotten wood will be refused. Hollow butts are ok as long as there is good wood around the hollow portion. Please have producers call me directly at 506-243-1080 if they have any questions or any wood that is different than what is listed above.
- Hours for self unloaders are Monday to Friday 7 am to 5 pm. Our loader is Monday to Thursday 7-4 and Friday 7-12 noon. NO WEEKEND DELIVERIES.
